GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

Grief is a response to losing someone dear and confronting the unknown territory that is life without them. Social expectations often predetermine the experience of grieving. This usually involves “moving on” and “letting go” in a short amount of time before being expected to return to everyday routines.

We believe that staying connected to our loved ones by sharing stories of legacy and participating in symbolic activities help foster a sense of community. Through these practices, the transition to a new life while at the same time connecting with our loved ones is established.

My practice offers a weekly grief support group that provides a safe place of support for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.
